ACADEMICS

It is the most international program of UGP, with students from over 20 nationalities, who take a 120-hour Spanish course per semester. The GAP year program represents a cultural immersion that provides our foreign students with the opportunity to interact in the language they are studying, with their university teammates from the UGP team in the day-to-day training and competitions

The GAP year is an experience that boosts the professional career of our students, highly valued by universities and companies

“ROAD2USA” is aimed at players who want to dedicate a year to improving their academic and sporting profile prior to joining a US university golf team in an international environment that replicates the American system. During one year our students get ready for the transition between high school and university

On the academic aspect, we plan the preparation, registration and dates of the SAT and TOEFL exams or equivalent, necessary for university admission with the aim of achieving the best score

On the sporting aspect, participation in the 6 events of the UGP Tour WAGR provides players with the opportunity to enter the world ranking, a key criteria for admission to university golf teams in the USA

Additionally, we collaborate with scholarship agencies in the elaboration of the video and sport profile, as well as in the selection of universities, obtaining references from former students and preparing reports or recommendation letters for the universities

The ROAD2USA program can be combined with the GAP year in Spanish as second language or the PGA Golf Management program
