The tournament will take place at Valle Romano Golf from 17th to 20th of May

Victor Pastor, captain of the University Golf Program Malaga, travels to Estepona in order to play the Costa del Sol Match Play 9, as part of the European Challenge Tour. This would be the second edition of the tournament and will take place in Valle Romano Golf.

The format of the tournament consists of 36 holes, stroke play, with the top 64 European Challenge Tour players making it through to the weekend. They will compete for a series of nine-hole match play battles for a €200,000 prize fund.

The previous Costa del Sol Match Play 9 was played at the same golf course last April 30, where 43 players among whom we had Victor Pastor, who stood out for his participation. The winners of this preview were Alfonso Gutiérrez and Manuel Quirós, who guaranteed their participation in the Costa del Sol Match Play 9 this weekend.

This tournament is a great opportunity to Pastor of playing together with the top professionals and amateurs of the European golf scene, including his older brother Marcos Pastor, professional golfer.
